Emotional Science – Creating Artificial Emotions – Discussion Wednesday, August 14 at 8:30pm | File | LCP
The main challenge of AI research is to give robots emotions that would anticipate their owner’s needs, for example. But what are the results of this humanization?
Interactive watches, smart cars, domestic robots, and connected objects are all seeing real growth. Many entrepreneurs are venturing into these futuristic possibilities, often called “mood tracking.” The main challenge emerging from AI research is to humanize these objects by trying to give them emotions. The key question is, can a robot read human emotions to better anticipate its owner’s needs? Many human-like robots have been in development for several years, and their capabilities have often been more surprising than those of their predecessors.
