The team will then undergo testing on the sixth day of their stay in managed isolation.

Meanwhile, we still have days before the decision to grant the team an exemption from training while in managed isolation.
The ministry said that before players are allowed to train, the Canterbury District Health Board medical official must be satisfied that training is unlikely to transmit the virus.
This is expected to take ongoing consideration until early next week at least.
“According to the usual protocols, the last case was interviewed, and close contacts, including the plane contacts, were contacted, or are in the process of contact.”
The ministry said any team member identified as a close contact would not fulfill the exemption requirements because there is a risk that Covid-19 could be passed on to teammates.
“It is very difficult to get exceptions that allow people to train during managed isolation and any team that receives such an exemption is in an advantageous position.
“The ministry today thanks the Pakistan cricket squad for their compliance with expectations about the isolation being managed and their cooperation in investigating the cases.”
