Aviron Bayonnais engages Robertson and Cotet (Narbonne) and targets Rasaku (Fidji 7)
In another record, Aviron Bayonnais set her sights on Pascal Cotet, Narbonne’s right-hand column. The 28-year-old has played twenty Pro D2 matches for his club this season, for 11 games. He also went through Perpignan, Oyonax and Ouenas, the person who has been developing at Aude since 2018 and has signed a three-year lease, and confirmed to “Sud Ouest” someone close on file.
In this position, rowers are still held by Chris Talakay, Tevita Tatavo and Luca Chilidze, all under contract. But the latter is not certain to be preserved. Didn’t really live up to expectations this season (6 games, 1 start). Luc Musset’s contract expires in June.
Lavage to Van
This isn’t the only Narbonne recruit from rowing. Flyhalf Jason Robertson (27) has pre-signed a contract with the Basque club, according to several of our sources. It covers a period of two seasons. The New Zealander’s arrival, under contract at Aude, will be formalized at the time of RC Narbonne’s touchdown, currently in Pro D2.
At Bayonne, he will partner the No. 10 with former France international Camille Lopez and Thomas Dolhagaray. In the same situation, Manuel Ordas and Maxime Lavage are out of their contract. The latter is expected by Fan.
