Android apps arrive, Microsoft publishes Amazon Appstore early
Last October, Microsoft launched with great fanfare the new version of its operating system. Unfortunately for Redmond, it’s clear that Windows 11 wasn’t 100% ready yet due to the lack of a number of features available at launch.
Of these, perhaps the most anticipated was the ability to download and run Android apps on Windows. In the end, it took several weeks Amazon Appstore has started appearingbut only for US Insider members.

Four months later, it looks like Microsoft is on track to roll out the Android App Store more broadly, with which it has partnered. The Amazon Appstore is already officially available on the Microsoft Store, in early access. It currently allows access to just over 1,000 Android apps and games on Windows 11.
To get it, you have to go to Windows Update to update the operating system, then open the Microsoft Store to start downloading and installing updates. The Microsoft App Store should then be updated and restarted. You can then search for and install the Amazon Appstore.
Unfortunately for us, if it can be downloaded from France, it is clear that it has not been officially accessed on the Amazon Android App Store in France.
