An immersive exhibition of Van Gogh’s masterpieces opens in July at the EDF Bazacle space in Toulouse
After filming in London, New York, Naples, or even Barcelona, a Immersive Gallery Dedicated to Van Gogh It opens its doors on July 7 in Toulouse. France Bleu Occitanie reveals the place exclusively to you: the immersive experience will be installed in EDF Bazacle space. 360 degree experience
The exhibition organized by Hub Gallery entitled Van Gogh Immersive Experience It has been around the world since 2017 and has received more than 6 million visitors. The goal is to immerse the visitor in the heart of hundreds of masterpieces of the Dutch master, a true 360-degree digital spectacle, where the paintings of the genius of 19th century paintings are projected onto the walls, floor and ceiling. Legendary works materialize before your eyes: starry night, sunflowers, wheat field with crows, bedroom.
The play is also sound: the narrators tell you about the tormented, chaotic and poetic world of the artist, his friendships and his inspirations. The show lasts 35 minutes. The room also presents a documentary on Van Gogh’s photographic techniques, and you can also enjoy paintings via a virtual reality helmet. The show was voted the best immersive experience last year by the US national newspaper USA Today.
