Air New Zealand showcases its offer from Tahiti
Air New Zealand announced, on Monday, in a press release, the update of its offers from Tahiti. From October 30, the minimum offer for Economy Class on flights to Auckland will be “The Works” including full service on board: meals and drinks; entertainment; baggage allowance; And choose the standard seat. Thus, the ‘Seat’ (one piece of hand baggage, refreshments and entertainment) and ‘Seat + bag’ (one piece of checked baggage) packages will not be available for booking from next Thursday on all flights scheduled after October 30.
Air New Zealand announced it was making this decision after noting that only 13% of its customers had chosen the “Seat” offer. All customers who purchase one of these offers before Thursday will be offered meals and beverages, for a flight scheduled after October 30, as well as access to in-flight entertainment. The original data for baggage allowance and points accumulated via “Flight Points” or “Status Points” can be used as evidence of tickets. Travelers departing from Tahiti will now only have to choose between “The Works” offerings; “Excellent Economy”; and Business Premier.
