A TV7 documentary to relive the emotions of the Rugby World Cup
Several weeks during which the World Cup was held at the Stade Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux, which hosted five matches, but also everywhere else. In the streets, in the bars, around the stadiums, in the training of the teams that stopped in the regional capital and in slightly less unexpected places such as the Lormont nursing home that organized a special day in Fiji, with the young brothers of the poor, at the University Hospital of Bordeaux with the Psac Rugby Club or during an evening in Cité du vin about Georgian wine.
France – South Africa common thread
Without forgetting the open training sessions for Fiji fans, Romania who held their base camp in Lormont and Liburn, or the New Zealand All Blacks during an open session at Chaban-Delmas Stadium in front of 10,000 people.
It’s all these small moments that punctuate the big events followed by the TV7 team. The common denominator was the quarter-final match between France and South Africa, which could be seen through the eyes and emotions of fans experiencing it from a distance in Bordeaux.
It is enough to immerse yourself in this intense action despite the disappointment of France’s 15th defeat to the future world champions in which UBB internationals Maxime Loco and Louis Piel-Pierre return in this film.
