A change in management in Kühne + Nagel
Zurich (AWP) – There is a change in management of Kühne + Nagel. Horst Joachim Schacht, responsible for the Freight Forwarding unit of Marine Services, will leave his post after 26 years working for the transport and logistics giant Schwyz. He will be succeeded by Michael Aldwell, effective October 1.
If he steps down from his current jobs, Mr. Schacht will remain active for the group in the future by taking on advisory duties, he writes about the German-origin and long-established firm in Sindelege on Wednesday. Born in 1984 and holding New Zealand citizenship, Michael Aldwell started his career in 2008 at Kuehne + Nagel in Auckland. With his experience in the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East and the Americas, as well as the experience of the US Northeast region manager, he has been working since last January at Schindellegi, responsible for Sea Logistics products worldwide sales and marketing.
Michael Aldwell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Lincoln, New Zealand, and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, California.
