Summer is here and with it the PlayStation sales! If you didn’t find what you were looking for in our previous list, here’s a selection of other excellent games on sale for up to -90% off. The opportunity to prepare for 2025 is already very dense in video game releases.

Over the past few days, Capcom has been showing off full-length trailers and screenshots for Monster Hunter Wilds, the next installment in the monster-hunting franchise, for anyone who wants to see it. A highly anticipated installment that will have newbies’ mouths watering, Monster Hunter Rise is the perfect place to start. The game features a short single-player campaign that effectively returns to the core mechanics of the game: it involves hunting monsters three times our size in gameplay and role-playing. We can customize our weapons and armor to be more effective against this or that monster, which in turn will free up essential resources for our equipment.

In recent years, video game studios have been interested in updating horror video games. We remember Capcom, which updated the first episodes of the Resident Evil series in a few years. Hades can be summed up as one of the best games of recent years. It was nominated for The Game Awards in the categories of Best Action Game and Best Game of 2020. The nominations owe their recognition to its excellent writing and enjoyable gameplay even if it doesn’t fully exploit the roguelite mechanics. A game for fans of difficulty but also for those who want a good story set in ancient Greek folklore. Furthermore, it’s not as if Hades 2 is coming next year.

Founder of the first-person shooter (and fast-paced FPS) genre in the early 90s, the DOOM license is far from dead and buried. Quite the opposite! The next installment in the saga officially arrived this summer. Set in a heroic fantasy world, far from science fiction and planets already colonized by demons, the world’s leading dopamine provider in video games returns next year and Doom Eternal is an excellent entry point. Accessible to both beginners and veterans alike, Doom Eternal is an exceptional game that it would be a shame not to try.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is the final episode in the saga created by Hideo Kojima. When it was released on September 1, 2015, it was met with acclaim from the press and the public. Some even go so far as to consider it the best stealth game ever made. Moreover, it is not necessary to have played the previous games to appreciate the title. Obviously, the best option is to play the third work, Snake Eater, the first in the chronological sequence… which is the subject of a remake by Konami whose release date is still awaited today.
