Ariane 6 launch coming soon
Ariane 6, the successor to Ariane 5, is a new milestone in European space autonomy. After 15 years of research and development, this new rocket is now capable of putting different types of satellites into orbit. “It’s not every day that we see a new rocket launch into space. I’m very proud of everyone who has worked so hard to make this flight possible and to ensure Europe’s access to space,” said Toni Tolker Nielsen, ESA’s Director of Space Transport.

Live broadcast at City of Space
Thus, the Cité de l'espace will open its gardens and exhibitions, updated for the occasion, free of charge. The live broadcast of the launch will be accompanied by commentaries from space experts. Among them are Lionel Suchet, Caroline Laurent and Philippe Curot from the French National Centre for Space Studies, as well as Benoit Bovary from the European Space Agency, who will provide their insights into the history of the project and the challenges of the mission.
