Chinese trade delegation receives cooperation intentions in New Zealand

China International Supply Chain Expo – CIEC Group, in cooperation with the China New Zealand Business Club and leading New Zealand companies, has finalized letters of intent and memorandums of understanding for the second edition of the China International Supply Chain Expo.

On April 19, Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Chinese Chamber of International Commerce, concluded a delegation's visit to New Zealand. The visit, which featured a New Zealand-China Business Forum session and a roadshow for the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), was an opportunity to sign several important agreements, including a cooperation protocol and letters of intent for participation. The China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation (CIEC Group) and several New Zealand trade organizations, including the New Zealand-China Trade Club, have committed to this initiative, marking a new milestone in the strong trade partnership between the two countries.

The latest delegation to New Zealand, the largest from China in years, included more than 80 delegates from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, regional and industrial promotion bodies and business representatives. Throughout their visit, delegates held in-depth discussions with their New Zealand counterparts, and participated in a comprehensive program of approximately 150 business discussions and promotional events. CCPIT, which hosts CISCE, and its associated entities, has concluded several new cooperation agreements with New Zealand organisations, highlighting the growing business links between the two countries.
