When will Indiana Jones be released from Bethesda? All we know
Bethesda’s Indiana Jones game is still in development, though the studio has been fairly quiet since its announcement. However, here’s everything we know about this upcoming new game.
A new Indiana Jones game was announced at the beginning of 2021, but since that initial teaser, little other information has been revealed.
The initial teaser showed off Indy’s iconic hat and whip, as well as a table full of trinkets that Nathan Drake and Lara Croft would be proud of. However, details regarding Dr. Jones’ next adventure have since become scarce, with the developers mainly focusing on their merger with Microsoft and the release of Starfield.

Is there a release date for Bethesda’s Indiana Jones game?
No, an Indiana Jones game Bethesda It doesn’t have a release date yet, or even an approximate release window.
The game was said to be in “very early development” in January 2021 and we believe global events may have slowed production somewhat at that time.

It’s also worth noting that Microsoft bought Bethesda around the same time period. This may also have affected development in some way, forcing the studio to rethink its release window without forgetting that Starfield has been the team’s priority ever since, with the game not being released until 2023 after a few delays.
As a result, we don’t expect to see an Indiana Jones game from Bethesda until late 2024 or sometime in 2025 at the earliest, although a 2026 release isn’t out of the question.

On which platforms will Indiana Jones be available?
Originally, a deal was struck between Bethesda and Disney before Microsoft came on the scene. As we learned in the legal hearings, the deal was for a cross-platform Indiana Jones game. However, after Microsoft acquired the studio, plans changed.

From now on, Indiana Jones will be exclusive to Xbox and PC. At the time, Bethesda’s Pete Haynes suggested that the Bethesda game would launch on Game Pass upon release, like Starfield.
As a result, neither PS5 players nor those with a Nintendo Switch will be able to participate in the adventure.

Indiana Jones game details
Although no gameplay has been revealed yet, since this is an Indiana Jones game, so expect tombs, temples, exploration, mysterious quests, and a certain group of uniformed baddies.
We don’t expect the game to include any shooting mechanics, as the weapons aren’t really Indy style. So, while some gameplay elements may be reminiscent of Tomb Raider and Uncharted, we imagine the combat will look very different.

Machine Games is developing this game in partnership with Lucasfilm. They described the title as “an original stand-alone story set at the height of the famous adventurer’s career.”
This means that an Indiana Jones game is unlikely to offer a playable version of the films Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, or Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Instead, we will likely see a new adventure with familiar characters and new characters inspired by these films.
