Should one refrain from producing a series season just because of the topic? In reality Was selected? no!
“Outlander” actors Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish and broadcaster Starz thought up and produced a second season of the travel documentary “Men in Kilts.” It will be released in four parts starting today, Friday (August 11) in the US.
Following the two Scottish friends in the six-part season opener as “Men in Skirts” – typical Tartan skirts – Delving deeper into their home in northern Great Britain and also illuminating Scottish culture for audiences, they now travel through New Zealand on the other side of the world in season two. McTavish once found a second home there after performing the role of the dwarf Balin in all three installments of The Hobbit to the island nation professionally.
New Zealand – or in the native language Aotearoa It consists of two main islands and about 700 other islands. In the 13th and 14th centuries, the area was first discovered and settled by Polynesian immigrants, who established the Maori culture. Then the Dutch discovered the islands in 1642, and named it the Dutch Province Zeeland the name New Zealand Which is still used today as “New Zealand” and “New Zealand”. Although the Dutch did not eventually take root here, the British took over the colonization.
Heughan and MacTavish now travel in a small motorhome to the islands, which beckon with their natural beauty and offer contrasts from terraces to green meadows to snow-capped treetops.
Like the first season, the second part will be produced by “Outlander” studio Sony Pictures TV. The first season of “Men in Kilts” premiered in Germany approximately six months after its world premiere on RTL Passion.
