The national team leaves for New Zealand

The Vietnam women’s national football team left the country on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 5, to travel to New Zealand to participate in the final stage of the 2023 Women’s World Cup, which will be held in New Zealand and Australia from July 20 to August 20.

Coach Mai Duc Chung told the press at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi that it would be a special trip not only for the Vietnamese women’s team but also for himself. He said that participating in this event is a pride for Vietnam in general and Vietnamese women’s football in particular.
