Air New Zealand was named Airline of the Year
Qatar Airways came second. Notably, it has won several awards, including Best Business Class and Best Catering Service
The Australian Aviation Rating and Safety Agency has compiled a list of the world’s top 10 airlines in 2023. The agency said the rating was compiled “from airlines that have demonstrated a commitment to service quality, innovation and meeting passenger expectations.”
Air New Zealand, the New Zealand carrier, has been named Airline of the Year, thanks to its long-stay economy class seats that are set to launch in 2024.
Qatar Airways came in second place. Notably, it has won several awards, including Best Business Class and Best Catering Service. Next up is Etihad Airways which excels in customer service and safety. Korean Air took fourth place, followed by Singapore Airlines which also won Best First Class and Excellence for Long Haul Travel – Southeast Asia.
Qantas comes in sixth, followed by Virgin Australia/Virgin Atlantic and Eva Air. In ninth place, we find the Cathay Pacific airline based in Hong Kong.
Finally, Emirates Airlines is ranked tenth and last in the ranking.
