Disgaea 6 release date has been announced

NIS America announces the official release date for Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny. The next long-awaited Disgaea adventure will be released on June 29, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch. Four characters from their ancestors will be part of the release version along with their story as bonus content: Adell, Rozalin, Girl Laharl and Asagi.

At Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is Zed, an arrogant zombie who, along with his sister Bieko, falls at the bottom of the Netherworld ranking. Danger is imminent when the God of Destruction threatens his (non) life. Zed must gather all of his strength – his unique ability, Super Reincarnation, is the only way to counter the threat. On his way he allies with the crooked and colorful inhabitants of the underworld, faces many challenges and quickly discovers if even an immortal hooligan like him can defy fate.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny combines a dark adventure with a compassionate story as well as incredibly tactical battles, including all-new gameplay elements, which have never been included in any title in the Disgaea series. Thanks to the new features, new arrivals will quickly find their way around the underworld, and even the old hands of Disgaea will have a wonderful and truly unique journey ahead of them. Special attacks and a number of allied units as well as auto-play, retry and restart functions provide the right challenge for both hardcore and casual players – the game can be easily adapted. If things don’t go as planned, against expectations, Zed can join the fight again with Super Reincarnation – until he becomes even more successful: ensuring a great experience in Netherworld for every player!
