The men on the ship don’t even know what’s happening to them. While one in the back of the boat appears to be catching a big catch – it’s unclear if it’s really the shark we see later – the other suddenly looks through the cockpit window at a large shark. He jumped onto the boat at the bow and seems to have grabbed the railing here. It is difficult to imagine if the huge animal had landed in the stern of the boat …

The captain did not plan to visit the shark
