New Zealand police said on Friday, August 26 that the New Zealand police have identified the remains of the two children who were found dead in bags sold at auction, but their names will not be made public at the request of their families.
Detective Inspector Tovilau Famanuya Valua said the authorities had decided not to release any information that could reveal the identity of the children. Police continue to investigate the deaths that have rocked New Zealand since the bodies were found in suitcases two weeks ago.
