Airbnb will be offering accommodations in Hobbiton, New Zealand
Three residencies scheduled for March 2023 will soon be booked on the platform to mark the 10th anniversary of The Hobbit Part 1’s theatrical release.
Cul-de-Sac is just a click away. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the cinematic release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Airbnb has added an ad that will delight fans of JRR Tolkien’s universe.
It will already be possible in March 2023 to be able to spend a few nights with a maximum of four people per stay on set in the province. Decoration used during the trilogy Lord of the rings and that of The hobbitespecially popular with tourists in New Zealand.
Reservations open December 13th
Only three residences will be put up for sale. Those lucky enough to get a date can stay at the Hobbiton Mill which is just around the corner from the Green Dragon Inn, highly regarded by our half-man friends in the movies. Visitors will also be served a dinner. They will also have the chance to visit the mock village and have special access to the hobbit’s “hole”, these houses with round doors built on the ground and on the hills.
Note, however, for those interested: Pricing is not yet known and reservations will open on December 13th at 10pm BST. And there were probably many, many people at the time on the platform who shared this future announcement on his many social media accounts.
