When can I play FIFA 23? The digital edition of FIFA 23 Standard Edition should open at 00:00 local time on Thursday evening. From this point, you can play if you have already downloaded the game.

What is the Xbox trick? There is a popular trick on Xbox to push the release date forward a bit.

To do this, you simply have to switch your Xbox to the New Zealand time zone.

• Go to your Xbox settings
• Select language and location settings
• Change your location to “New Zealand”

The start in New Zealand at 00:00 corresponds to 13:00 here. In the past, even with the Ultimate Edition, you could get into the game beforehand on the Xbox. With the Standard Edition, this should be possible as of September 29th, at 1:00 PM.
