First in Group B with 4 points, Colombia only needs a draw with New Zealand to secure their ticket to the U-20 Women’s World Cup quarter-finals. The challenge was not so great for these Colombians when we know that they were able to resist against two major opponents during the previous days.
Getting 4 points out of a possible 6 against Germany and Mexico is already an advantage to play with the New Zealanders more calmly. For New Zealand we will have to do everything we can to hope for an achievement against Colombia. Finally in the standings with just one point, a win is essential for Colombians if they dream of continuing to compete.
After two less interesting matches, it’s more time than ever for them to pull all the stops to win and surprise their opponent tonight at 5pm BST.
