Note for fighting sports fans: Meet up from 7pm for an evening of boxing in the Manu iti room in Paea. And for those in Moorea, MMA fights are held at the Afareiatu Sports Hall from 6:15 p.m.

Two years after the Mako Nina challenge, it could not be held due to the health crisis. To celebrate this wonderful return, the winner of the evening will leave with a belt made locally from plant fibers and mother-of-pearl. The rematch and finals will take place on Saturday evening at the Tahiti Pearl Resort in Arue.
MMA is on display tonight at Avariato Sports Hall. The Moorea MMA Championship is organized by Henri Burns, who sees real enthusiasm for the sport on the sister island. The fights will begin at 6:15 PM. Find out below the athletes’ faces and today’s evening programme, scheduled to run until 11pm.
