Yes, to finish the season and to return to the field.

More than two months after a hamstring injury, how do you feel today?

Well, it’s my first practice today (Tuesday). It’s been two long months without playing. It’s good to be there without hamstring pain. It’s a good start, hopefully it will continue like this until the end of the week.

Your return took longer than expected…

It was supposed to last three weeks, but for added safety, we’ve extended it to five weeks. I feel great now.

Is it hard to watch a team lose when you’re away?

Yes, it was a good start to the season…I think we made simple mistakes and lacked discipline in the last few games. Then there were some things that didn’t go our way. But these are games we could have won. It remains positive, because we still play well at times. We had a good break last week and now we are all focused on Saturday’s game.

While you were away, UBB had great difficulty finishing the proceedings. Do you feel you have an important role in this area to show the way?

Yes, the last match in Claremont is a good example. A lot of times we didn’t finish with our actions, the team didn’t do very well, there were bad passes…so it’s important for me, for my comeback, to help the team finish their actions, play forward and touch the ball. Ball as far as I can.

After five straight defeats, UBB must regain confidence. Having not played since January 2nd (against Biarritz), is this your case too?

I’m happy to be back, I’ve been a player for a while, so I know what to do. Many youngsters played, it was their first experience, and they are still learning. I think it’s good to have Cameron Walke and Maxime Loko back with us. They just finished a good Six Nations Championship, and they bring more confidence to the team. We had a good start to the week, and I think we’re on the right track.

The fact that so many bounces are recorded in the set, could it be a sign of a fresh start?

Yeah. On Monday, the first day of training after their return, there were a lot of positive emotions. Everyone was happy to see each other again, as if we were starting something new. We had a bad final block, we had a good break and now there is a new dynamic, I think we are ready for the end of the season.

You will spend the final months with UBB before joining Montpellier. How do you live it?

I try not to think about it too much, I always want to play matches one by one. Hopefully we can move on, with some victories that will allow us to reach the final stages. For me, it would be sad to leave, but I am still happy to play with this team now.
