La Palma volcano eruption – where have the lava dogs that must be rescued by drones trapped?
Rescues of dogs trapped in the lava of the La Palma volcano are ready…but the animals have disappeared from the radars of the drone rescue company.
Despite the importance of the means the authorities put in place to save them, none of the dogs surrounded by the lava flows were rescued from the Cumbre Vieja volcano in La Palma on Thursday.
Concern is especially growing among animal welfare organization Leales.org who believes dogs definitely had to take refuge in places where the temperature was much lower in order to survive this infernal division.
New reconnaissance flights will be carried out with thermal cameras in order to find a trace of the missing dogs. Flights that will be made early in the evening when the temperature drops more sharply in the area in order to better identify possible animal movements.
However, the drone company responsible for the rescue, Aerocámaras, conducted critical tests of the rescue operation on Tuesday. Everything is ready for implementation. All you have to do is find the dogs, hoping they won’t succumb to the intense heat from the lava flows.
