Explor’Espace is a unique opportunity to participate in fifteen experiments from the largest research laboratories, to dialogue with key figures in the field, to attend presentations where art and astronomy mingle …
A meeting in which the public is an active factor in the conquest of space, and is no longer just a spectator! Come and drive the Apollo lunar jeep, explore the vault of Mars or enjoy a supernova explosion… All these experiences from the largest European science institutes will be at your fingertips during this extraordinary festival.
Musicians, visual artists, magicians … This festival will combine art and science, in particular, a wonderful show that combines circus art and cosmology.
Every day, many discussions, conferences, workshops and major conferences: we also provide you with the possibility to attend conferences by interacting with the public, accessible to all and through the finest researchers.
Special activities for children are offered throughout the three days: manipulation of observational instruments, lunar tourism, waltz for 3, planets and their moons, phases of the moon, stars and constellations, solar observations, etc.
Extraordinary moments:
Charlie Duke, the tenth man to walk on the moon during the Apollo 16 mission, will meet you on Saturday, November 6 at 4 p.m. for an extraordinary account of his lunar adventure.
Rosemary Rosa, daughter of Apollo 14 astronaut Stuart Rosa, will also attend on Saturday 6. She spreads interest in science through the seeds produced by “moon trees” born from the seeds her father carried with him around the moon. .
It is mandatory to wear a mask and present a valid health permit.
