Klipsch has just officially announced its new arrival T5 II True Wireless ANC: a completely advanced wireless headphones based, in particular, on active noise reduction and a touch and gesture control system.

Introduced at the beginning of the year during the 2021 CES edition, the T5 II True Wireless ANC completes the somewhat obscure range of T5 headphones from Klipsch. The new arrivals are identical to the design of the T5 II True Wireless, both in terms of headphones and housing.

The manufacturer still sets out to reconsider the acoustic architecture with a change of the speaker (5.8 mm vs. 5 mm) and, above all, the integration of audio signal processing. Dirac Hi-Res Audio. This technology is already present in some models of headphones and smartphones, thanks to the improvement of the frequency and impulse response of the audio signal, “Improved positioning, clarity, clarity of sounds and accuracy of bass”.

The T5 II True Wireless ANC is also the result of a partnership with Bragi, the brand known for its headphones. dash and its highly successful crowdfunding campaign. Like Skullcandy, Klipsch reached out to the German company to include Bragi OS within it. As a result, there is a whole host of features such as Amazon Alexa integration, the ability to modify button actions, and above all, operating various commands using simple gestures. For example, answering a call with a gesture or rejecting it by shaking it. Bragi announced that its operating system is upgradable and that new features can be added over time.

In terms of active noise reduction, Klipsch has opted for a “hybrid” architecture based on two microphones assigned to each earpiece, one located on the outside and one near the speakerphone. Such a configuration, in theory, provides more effective isolation of ambient noise … provided it is well controlled. Transparency mode for listening to ambient sounds is also part of the game. The advertised self-running time is 7 hours per charge (5 hours with active noise reduction) and the box will provide an additional 21 hours (15 hours with active noise reduction), that’s three additional charges. Equipped with a USB-C port, the box is also compatible with Qi wireless charging.
