New Zealand is now showing once again what life after Corona could look like again. On Saturday, about 30,000 people attended a Six60 rock concert at Wellington’s Sky Stadium.
As BILD writes, the event was sold out. The celebrations took place without masks and without distance. The reason: The island country has practically escaped the Coronavirus so far.
The lockdown was imposed for a period of 72 hours
However, there are still individual cases in New Zealand – but one reacts very strongly to them. After three people from a family in Oakland tested positive for coronavirus, the government imposed a lockdown on the affected area on Sunday.
Therefore, residents are asked not to leave their homes for the next 72 hours and to limit communications with their families.
All stores except supermarkets and pharmacies will be closed. No more than ten people are allowed to meet.
An example to follow in the fight against Corona
The last infection prior to the current case was recorded in New Zealand on January 24, 2021. At that time, the person tested positive after traveling from Europe. So the infection cannot occur in the country itself.
With around 2,000 infections and 26 deaths, New Zealand is a prime example of the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. (Bra)
