2023 World Cup (F): The Zambian delegation will be staying in New Zealand

The Zambian delegation is now on New Zealand soil. The group settled in the city of Hamilton. The first training session for the Zambian team is scheduled for Wednesday.

Having played Switzerland (3-3) and Germany (2-3) during their European preparation tour, Zambia is in New Zealand. The first wave arrived overnight from Sunday to Monday. Meanwhile, the second wave landed overnight from Monday to Tuesday.

The Copper Queens have settled in the New Zealand city of Hamilton where they will play two Group C matches against Japan and Costa Rica at Waikato Stadium. This enclosure seats 16,200. Their penultimate group match against Spain will be played at Aotearoa New Zealand’s national stadium, Eden Park, which has a capacity of 40,500.

Zambia women’s coach Bruce Mwape scheduled the first training session for Wednesday. The task force should be divided into two parts at this first gathering in Hamilton. The first wave will do the full work while the second wave will work for post-travel fitness.
