Yenshi wins two contracts in New Zealand worth 145 million euros, company news

PARIS (Ajvi Dow Jones) – Vinci Construction and Franchise Group announced Thursday that it has been awarded two construction and maintenance contracts in New Zealand totaling approximately NZ$250 million (about €145 million) through its subsidiary HEB. Building.

The first contract was won with National Transportation Agency Waka Kutahi in a consortium with Downer NZ and Tonkin + Taylor. It includes the design and construction of 4.5 kilometers of coastal walkways and bike lanes along Wellington Harbor at the southern tip of the North Island, as well as the construction of 2.7 kilometers of levees and 800 meters of protective walls “against storm surge and sea level rise”. The work is scheduled to be handed over in 2026.

HEB Construction has also won road maintenance contracts in Christchurch, on the east coast of the South Island, which will begin in October 2022 for an initial five-year term, with an option to extend for another five years, according to the construction group.
