Yenshi wins two contracts in New Zealand worth 145 million euros

PARIS (Agvie Dow Jones) – Vinci construction and franchise group announced Thursday that it has been awarded two construction and maintenance contracts in New Zealand totaling approximately NZ$250 million (approximately €145 million) via its subsidiary HEB. Building.
The first contract was won with national transport agency Waka Kotahi in a consortium with Downer NZ and Tonkin + Taylor. It includes the design and construction of 4.5km of coastal paths and cycle paths along Wellington Harbor at the southern tip of the North Island, as well as the construction of 2.7km of embankments and 800m of protective walls “against storms and sea level rise”. The work is scheduled to be delivered in 2026.
Construction firm HEB has also won road maintenance contracts in Christchurch, on the east coast of the South Island, which will begin in October 2022 for an initial five-year term, with an option to extend for a further five years, according to the construction group.
