Tour of Oman: Belgian Cabello wins the fourth stage, leading Fisher Black | TV5MONDE
Belgian runner Amaury Cabello won the fourth stage of the Tour of Oman on Tuesday, in which New Zealander Finn Fisher-Black now leads the general classification.
During a shortened stage (104 km) due to weather conditions, the Arkea-B&B Hotels rider managed to hold on to overcome the day's difficulties and win in the Yitti Hills.
The winner of the 2022 GP La Marseillaise, who has had a season plagued by injuries, is ahead of Dutchman Eddie Schilling (Astana) and Italian Davide De Brito (Jaiko Alala) in the speed race.
Finn Fisher-Black (Team Emirates), winner of Stage 2, reclaimed the leader's red jersey thanks to the three extra seconds he gained at the top of the penultimate climb of the day.
The general classification will be decided during the fifth and final stage of 138.7 km on Wednesday, which ends at the summit of the Green Mountain (5.7 km, 10.5%), the fairness of peace of this round from Amman.
