to be. A space for social life in a municipal community
In 2020, the Community of Municipalities (CCMLHL) took the opportunity to create a CAF du Tarn-accredited Community Living Space (EVS). After long preparation and diagnostic work in the field, L’Arc-en-ciel finally saw the light of day in September 2021. The site’s facilitator, Adeline Gazelle, answered our questions.
What is a social living space?
It is a nearby place that aims to create links between the residents of the territory as well as the solidarity of the neighbourhood, by involving the residents. For this, it relies on workshops, discussion groups and discussion moments on specific topics arising from the real needs of the territory.
But how does it work?
Arc-en-Ciel will be a mobile and itinerant service. I will travel regularly in each municipality to deliver fun moments around the three topics that will be highlighted: digital inclusion, parenting, and health/well-being. Over time and the population taking over L’Arc-en-ciel, these themes would evolve according to the needs expressed. L’Arc-en-ciel is open to everyone, regardless of your age, marital status or profession. He needs all of you to live and shine! At the beginning of the year, if health permits, I will come to each village to offer to share pots in order to meet the inhabitants and to have a joyful moment over tea or coffee. It would be a great way to introduce myself, to explain how L’Arc-en-Ciel works, but also to gather first impressions and expectations of the main stakeholders: the population! If you have any needs, ideas or want to participate in the life of L’Arc-en-ciel, I am at your disposal every day, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 7 a.m. 52 05 44 30 or by mail to [email protected].
Remember to follow the L’Arc-en-ciel Social life space Facebook page so you don’t miss out on the Temple’s tours and news.
