Pokémon Go players are unhappy with Pokémon hatching from 12-kilometer eggs and are asking Niantic to change the Pokémon that appear.

Pokémon Go captures the essence of the classic Pokémon games, encouraging players to go around trying to become like Ash and “Arrest them all!”

One way Niantic tied into the goal of getting players to move to obtain rare Pokémon was through eggs, which can be obtained from PokéStops.

There are different types of eggs, each requiring a certain distance to travel before the Pokémon inside are ready to enter the world (just like in classic Nintendo games).

Pokémon Go players unhappy with 12-kilometre-long eggs

One Pokémon Go fan expressed his frustration, complaining about the game's “worthless” eggs: “Does anyone else feel that 12-kilometre eggs are almost worthless at this point?”

The original poster wasn't upset about the 12-kilometre-long egg, saying it successfully hatched the Pokémon. “Raids/PvP Related”. But now, as the game progresses through its life cycle, he complained, it's time for Niantic to make a change.

“I swear, if you hatch another useless Sandile, Pancham, or Boneyard, I'll go crazy. Niantic needs to shake things up and put something new/rare to strive for.” They said.

Other players couldn't help but join in and agree with the original poster, but they admitted to being drawn to the scarcity of red eggs.

“Yes, they're still bad. The eggs are very disappointing, but I'll keep chasing those red ones.”

For some fans of the mobile game, the red eggs have treated them well, with one player raving about his recent experience with the 12-kilometre-long egg: “I got a shiny scalp a week or two ago. It was nice.”
