The Greens make their rhetoric speak at the Elysee

Last Monday, in the prestigious Elysee Hall, Valentin Debal and Axel Dudot spoke about their oratorical talent. Respectively running for first prize and favorite prize, the two under-16 players from Groupe Avenir coached by Kevin de Jesus put forward their arguments about football’s place in the Olympic Games and the economic importance of football.

In front of an audience of nearly 150 people and in front of a jury made up of dignitaries, the two Saint-Etienne midfielders laid out arguments that have been prepared throughout the season with the help of Prometheus Education, the organiser.

Although the two residents of the Robert-Herbin Sports Center, ASSE indoor finalists, did not manage to secure a place on the final podium in their category, they nonetheless have fond memories of the photo of Valentin Dybale.

Je vois le chemin parcouru.

It was a very enriching experience that will serve us in the future, Midfielder satisfied. Speaking at the Elysee and in front of all these public figures makes us bigger. When you see this speech in front of many former MPs and ministers when it was a little complicated for me at first to speak in front of my teammates, I see how far we have come. It served me, I think I have more of the same concerns and be more persuasive. »

Organized by Prometheus Education, the 4th edition of the Speech Competition in the Training Center allowed nearly 90 players from 6 professional clubs in the Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT leagues. Since 2019, 21 different clubs from Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and D1 Arkéma have participated in this rhetoric competition.
