The Saudis at Al Hilal FC complete the field, along with their Emirati neighbors from Al Jazeera and New Zealand’s Auckland formation.

Qatar hosted the previous edition at the beginning of the year and Bayern Munich won it. The competition was supposed to take place in December 2020 and was postponed by two months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

FIFA also announced the holding of a qualifying tournament for the 2022 World Cup for the Oceania region from 14-30 March 2022, which will bring together eight teams in Qatar and will award a play-off ticket in June 2022.

This play-off match between a representative of Oceania and a team that finished fourth in the qualifiers in the CONCACAF region, in addition to the one planned between the fifth seeded team in the South American qualifiers and a nation from the Asian region, will also take place in Qatar on 13 and 14 June.
