Six World Cup players go down as champions France. Stade Toulouse, a club deeply concerned about the absence of international players from its workforce during the upcoming World Cup, announced the six names in question on Thursday.
If there is one club, especially in France, that will be affected from September 8 to October 28 by the absence of its international players during the World Cup in France (September 8 to October 28), it is the Toulouse stadium. With this in mind, Rouge and Noir, the French champions, who could already be preparing to lose Thomas Ramos, Antoine Dupont, Romain Ntamack, Mathis Lebel, Thibaud Flemment, Cyril Bale, to name a few. France internationals are concerned, they have decided to recruit six World Cup players who will stay in the Pink City until November. The six players involved have been selected to start for Piula Faasalele, the third New Zealand winger whom Toulouse fans know well, because he actually wore the shirt of their favorite team for three years, between 2016 and 2019. The one who plays on the wing, has been playing for the past four years in Perpignan, after stints In Agen and Bordeaux Bigles. Setareki Bituniyata also knows the French championship very well.
Searle only knew England
The Fijian winger has already arrived from Brive and debuted in a diamond shirt. Ryndhardt Elstadt is also on the list. However, the third-row South African actually donned the colors of Toulouse last season. He appeared 23 times, convinced of this, and would therefore continue to venture into Toulouse until at least November. Katereku Okumura and Billy Searle are the last two World Cup players to be scored by Stade Toulousain. The first is a 25-year-old Japanese defender who comes from his former club, Shizuoka Blue Race. The second is English and develops, for him, into the position of the opening half. Born in Exeter, he had to head to Bath, his base after Worcester, as his former club (for two years) had to go out of business. He had never left England before. All six players must not be part of the team, however, when the Champions Cup begins. Toulouse has known since Thursday that he will start the next edition against Cardiff at home.
