Space: The comet will cross the sky at the end of January, 50,000 years after its last pass

Named “beautiful C/2022 E3 (ZFT),” this green-hued comet responds to “about a kilometer in diameter,” according to Blue France. Astronomers have estimated that it will come closest to the Sun on January 12th. It will be visible from Earth as a small green dot. But for a better view, binoculars or a telescope are highly recommended. The best viewing window should be on the weekend of January 21-22 when The comet will pass between the constellations Ursa Minor and Ursa Major. This will be his last visit before returning to the depths of the solar system.
Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) was discovered by astronomers in early March. Its last syllable dates back to the time of Neanderthals, during the Upper Paleolithic. This comet “E3” was discovered only recently, in 2020 by the Palomar Observatory in California.
