It’s a business that never stops bouncing back. This week, a US judge found six additional classified documents in Joe Biden’s family home in Delaware. The forfeiture was formalized on Saturday, January 21, by the President’s personal attorney, Bob Bauer.
This new discovery was announced as other documents, dating back to when Joe Biden was vice president to Barack Obama (2009-2017), were discovered since November at his family home in Wilmington (Delaware) and at the Study Center in Washington. Where the 80-year-old Democrat had an office.
The president underestimates
The case is particularly embarrassing for the head of state, who plans to declare himself a candidate for the 2024 presidential election. During a trip to California a few days ago, he tried to minimize the outcry over the discovery of these documents. “Listen, we found some documents (…) that were stored in the wrong place, and we immediately handed them over to the archives and the Ministry of Justice.”the president told reporters.
Former President Donald Trump, who has already begun a new race for the White House, is also under investigation for taking several boxes of official documents from his residence in Florida.
