Sebastien Disgli, the new CEO of the IPM Group

After twenty years as CEO of the IPM Group, Denis Pierrerard will retire this September. He will be replaced by Sebastien Dickley, who has headed the New Zealand branch of FCB International Communications Group for the past two years.

IPM Group publishes L’Avenir, La Libre Belgique, La Derniere Heure, Paris Match Belgique, and Moustique. IPM Group also owns the LN24.

“Sebastien has a great knowledge of digital media, he is a charismatic leader with solid management experience,” explains François Le Hoody, Managing Director of IPM.

“I am very excited to join a group that is engaged in a deep digital transformation with iconic journalism brands,” said Sebastien Disgli.

After completing his economics and management studies at the University of California, Sebastien Disclay joined Procter & Gamble in 2000, where for 7 years he assumed financial and then marketing responsibilities. In 2007 he was appointed Managing Director of Publicis Agency, this will be his first public management responsibility. In 2011, his responsibilities expanded, becoming CEO of the consolidated group Publicis and Duval Guillaume.

In 2013, a big leap internationally, Sebastien Dikley joined an American communications group, FCB (Interpublic) with the responsibility of International Head and Alliances. He is responsible for a network of 70 offices on 5 continents. Its mission is to promote cohesion between these agencies, to ensure that they have a range of effective and innovative services and products, that they succeed in hiring the best talent, and that the network returns to profitability.

Since 2021, Sebastian has served as CEO of FCB in New Zealand, a responsibility completed in 2022 coordinating relationships between FCB’s 60 franchise offices around the world. In Auckland and Wellington, he leads a team of 170 people, accelerating agency transformation in technology and data, and setting the company on a path to profitability and growth of around 15%.
