It’s an emotional “goodbye.” All blacks left Leon and their hotel in Gerland on Monday 9 October 2023. The New Zealand players will continue the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France at another base camp near Paris in order to prepare for the quarter-final against Ireland.

Direction to Paris and Bois de Vincennes

The All Blacks will now train in Insep, in the Bois de Vincennes, which is located in the capital’s 12th arrondissement, according to Parisian.

The Ruck Hôtel, Lyon’s new hotel that has welcomed blacks since their arrival on the Rhone at the beginning of September, reacts to the departure of international rugby stars.

“The Ruck Hotel teams are proud to be able to take delivery of their infrastructure and make it available, alongside Lou Rugby Club, to support one of the best sporting teams in the world,” they expressed their delight.

So it was time to “goodbye” on Monday afternoon. The hotel and its restaurant Atelier du Ruck have adapted part of their services and common areas to accommodate the staff. All blacks.

A clip from the New Zealanders that will be remembered, as the players left their mark. They rode the Fourvière à Vélo’v, ate in restaurants, chose a hairdresser in Lyon, visited Pérouges…

In short, they will have benefited from the region’s hospitality and will return it well. They even offered a Maori bench to the City of Lyon in the Tête d’or park.
