Rugby: South African Jeremy Ward, former captain of ‘Baby Boks’, arrives at Stade Français
Firmly, arrivals don’t end there anymore at Stadistes. Very active in his recruitment this summer, Stade Français has scored the arrival of a new player, Jeremy Ward, from the South African Sharks team.
His new club announced, on Wednesday, that the 26-year-old would join his team in Paris for the next two seasons. He has been called up to replace Fijian Waisea Nayacalevu and New Zealander Ngani Laumape, who departed in the off-season.
Jeremy Ward will join his new teammates “in the coming days”, Stade Français announced on his Twitter account.

Ward (1.87m, 92kg) has never worn a Springboks jersey but was captain of the Baby Book, South Africa’s under-20 team. See you soon, can’t wait to get started! He wrote on social media in response to the announcement of his transfer.
He had announced the day before that he was leaving his concession in Durban (South Africa). “It was a crazy shark adventure, and I’m so grateful to everyone involved in this story.
