Real spade throw in France
Algerian football – Apple TV+ released a new documentary series, “Real Madrid: Until The End,” on Friday, March 10. Presented by David Beckham, this three-part miniseries stirred reactions from Karim Benzema fans in Algeria.
Indeed, the 2021-2022 season was full of ups and downs, including winning the 14th Champions League. The documentary will highlight club veterans as well as proven newcomers, defying expectations and skeptics. The executive producers of the series are David Quintana, Virginia Acero, Camila Rodríguez-Porquez, Jorge Cabrera and Real Madrid CF for WAKAI.
But what caught Algerian viewers’ attention during the trailer was the tribute to the Algerian fans. In fact, fans of the club and Benzema could briefly be seen proudly carrying the flag of Algeria. This presence testifies to the importance of Real Madrid to the Algerian fans, many of whom around the world support this legendary club.
This new documentary series joins the Apple TV+ catalog that already offers documentaries and docuseries about the biggest names in sport such as “Make or Break,” on the World Surf League, “The Super League,” on the future of European football or “They Call Me Magic,” on NBA legend Irvin “Magic” Johnson. Upcoming projects are equally promising, including a documentary about seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, and “underrated” about NBA legend Stephen Curry. So sports fans have it. Something to be excited about with these many upcoming productions.
