On Rai Sport at 22.20 years of great Italian sailing

ROME, January 13, 2022 – The credit of the just-ended season for competitive Italian sailing. From Luna Rossa’s thrilling performances at the America’s Cup in Auckland, New Zealand, with a Prada Cup victory, to the Vendée Globe, the world tour solo non-stop or assisted by Giancarlo Pedote, the Florentine navigator, the protagonist with the best score any Italian has ever had in the toughest sea regatta. And the most demanding. Even the historic gold medal for Ruggero Tita and Caterina Banti, at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, in the Nacra 17 funanbolic class. All this in the episode at the beginning of the year “Man and the Sea”, the usual Rai column reserved for the sea, sailing and its characters, edited and conducted as usual by Giulio Goazzini, broadcast tonight at 10.20 pm on RaiSport + HD (Channel 57 of digital terrestrial broadcasts). Opening exclusive interview with FIV (Italian Sailing Federation) President Francesco Ettorre who signed in Genoa a partnership agreement with One Ocean Foundation.
