New Zealand Prime Minister begins an official visit to Vietnam
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern arrived in Hanoi on Monday, November 14, kicking off a four-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chin.

As part of the visit, the New Zealand Prime Minister, leading a high-level New Zealand delegation, will attend an official reception before meeting with her Vietnamese counterpart, Pham Minh Chin.

You will pay a courtesy visit to the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong, and interview Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the President of the Vietnamese National Assembly, Phuong Dinh Huy.
The New Zealand leader will also meet with reporters, attend the Vietnam-New Zealand business dialogue and an event on linking New Zealand agriculture and other activities.
The visit will help build political trust and enhance multifaceted cooperation between the two countries in politics, diplomacy, defence, security, economy, investment, labour, education, technology, climate change and digital transformation.
