Lyon. CGT railway workers request that the reception area at Perrache Station be reopened
“A further reorganization of the Lyon Perrache SNCF will further degrade the service provided to users in terms of sales, information, reception and passenger support at the historic station in Lyon,” CGT railway workers confirm. The officers were on strike on Tuesday.

It also notes that “the opening capacity of the meters has decreased significantly since 2020”. It currently operates from 11am to 6pm Monday through Friday. “It’s not open during rush hour. It’s closed on weekends. We drop Perrache counters. When agents are on vacation, they don’t get replaced,” laments Laurent Obello.
On Tuesday, the striking officers went to meet with the users. They collected 300 signatures to demand “the reopening of the reception area and counters”. Letters have also been sent to the Mayor of Lyon, to the Mayor 2e Deputy Department. “We don’t have any feedback,” a CGT representative confirms.
