Police had to fire tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse an angry crowd that surrounded a police station near the site of the gruesome discovery in Mukuru, a shanty town south of the capital, an AFP journalist reported. “Investigations have been opened to determine the identity of these people and the manner of their killing.”Nairobi police chief Adamson Bongi told reporters.
Police say the women were killed in the same way.
