The mod, called Like a Brawler Beta, was released by modder Jhrino on Nexus Mods. It allows Ichiban Kasuga, the game's protagonist, to fight in real-time and use multiple fighting styles to confront his enemies. This is really good news for all fans of the series who preferred the combat system of the old Yakuza game.
