How to see all the data Google has about you
Out of simple curiosity or to better protect your personal data, it is possible to refer to all information that the American giant collects when browsing its services.
Whether you’re on Android or iOS, finding a summary of the data Google maintains about your online activity in its services is easy. You have two options.
If you want a limited summary
Go straight to the dashboard Google Control Panel. This page provides an overview of the data recorded in your Google account when using the services of the American giant’s ecosystem, on the one hand, those that are used recently, and on the other, those that are used less regularly. Advantages: Clear and concise presentation for ease and speed of use.
For each of its services, detailed information is available. For example, if you have a Gmail address, you will be notified of the number of emails in the inbox, the number of emails sent, the number of drafts, or the number of items in the trash.
Google Dashboard allows you to download all your data with one click to keep or use from another account. To do this, click on the tab Download your data located at the top left of the page. It is also possible to download data of a particular service only. To do this, go to the desired service box and click the button “Download” Located at the bottom left.
If you want a detailed summary

Once on the page, you are presented with four sections: Your activities and places you visited ; Information you can share with other people ; Data from the apps and services you use (the section that takes you to the “Google Control Panel”) and finally, “more options”.
For each of these sections, detailed data is available. For example, in Your activities and places you visitedyou can view your web and application browsing history (by clicking the “my activity” with the small clock) but also your YouTube history or even find your trips on maps. For each service, it is possible to configure security options to suspend collection of history eg.
Division Information you can share with other people It collects data about your profile (surname, first name, date of birth, gender, etc.), but also the ability to share your position, contacts, payment methods or subscriptions – according to the information you have registered with your Google Account.
