Hunter Biden is the target of the American right
Hunter Biden, the fifty-year-old son of the Democratic president, has become a favorite target of the American right. In particular, it accuses him of making questionable deals in Ukraine and China when Joe Biden was Vice President Barack Obama (2009-2017), benefiting from his father’s networks and name.
The US Constitution stipulates that Congress can impeach the president for “treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.”
The Trump wing of the Republican Party has been demanding for months the start of impeachment proceedings, as its leader, Kevin McCarthy, was forced to make many concessions to gain power in January.
