Concentrations of greenhouse gases responsible for global warming in the atmosphere reached record levels in 2021, as did the level of the oceans. This was reported Wednesday, August 31, by the US Oceanic and Atmospheric Monitoring Agency (NOAA).
While greenhouse gas emissions are on the rise again after the Covid-19 crisis, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has reached an average of 414.7 parts per million (ppm), according to the annual report. American climate researcher led by NOAA scientists.

These gases, from the combustion of coal, oil and gas that we use to transport, feed or shelter us, cause global warming and cascading damage, as France was able to monitor this summer.
